This is a vegan recipe of the traditional Scandinavian pastry kringel/pretzel, in this case Estonian Kringle. It’s a cinnamon braid bread that looks like a wreath, quite aesthetic and very tasty. Not very difficult to make but requires a bit of skill to braid it.

Ingredients:

Dough
– 300ml coconut milk
– 40g fresh yeast
– 20g flour & 20g sugar (for the yeast)
– 600g wheat flour
– Pinch of salt
– 8g vanilla sugar
– 7ml orange blossom water
– 60g coconut oil

Filling
– 100g brown sugar
– 20g ground cinnamon
– 8g vanilla sugar
– 50g coconut oil

Icing
– Powdered sugar

Esta es una receta vegana del tradicional kringel / pretzel de pastelería escandinava, en este caso Kringle estonio. Es un pan trenzado de canela que parece una corona, bastante estético y muy sabroso. No es muy difícil de preparar pero requiere un poco de habilidad para trenzarlo.

– 20g harina y 20g azúcar (para la levadura)
– 600g harina de trigo
– Una pizca de sal
– 8g azúcar vainillado
– 7ml agua de azahar
– 60g aceite de coco

Relleno
– 100g azúcar morena
– 20g canela molida
– 8g azúcar vainillado
– 50g aceite de coco

Glaseado
– Azúcar en polvo
