TikTok Tortilla Wrap Hack Vegan Recipe

It’s Sunday and I have another recipe for you! I don’t know about you, but I had to jump in on the TikTok Tortilla Hack trend ??.

So…let’s get into it! I have the full recipe details below for my Quick Quesadilla!

* 1 Spinach and Herb Wrap
* 1/2 small Red Onion (sliced)
* 1/2 small Avocado
* 1 cup of Vegan Cheddar Shreds
* 2 tbsp of Vegan Buttery Spread
* 1 tsp of Garlic Powder
* 1/2 tsp of Chili Powder
* 1/2 tsp of Cumin
* 1/2 tsp of Onion Powder
* 1/2 tsp of Smoked Paprika
* Cayenne Pepper, Ground Black Pepper, and Salt to taste

Ingredients(Quick Pico de Gallo)

* 1 Roma Tomato (diced)
* 1/2 Jalapeño pepper (diced)
* 1/2 Red Onion (diced)
* 1/2 Lime (for juice)
* 1 tsp of Garlic Powder
* 1/2 tsp of Chili Powder
* 1/2 tsp of Cumin
* 1/2 tsp of Onion Powder

1. To begin, grab a small pot and turn the heat to medium. Once hot, melt your vegan buttery spread.
2. Slice your red onion and when the spread is melted good, add in all your seasonings. Cover, turn to medium low, and allow to cook for 4-5 minutes. The goal is to get them nice and caramelized.
3. As the onions are cooking, you can make your easy Pico de Gallo!
4. Prep your jalapeño, onions, and tomatoes. Put them in a small bowl. Roll a lime and use the juice of half of it. Pour over the jalapeño, onions, and tomatoes mix. Finish with your seasonings and mix well. Done!
5. Now it’s time to assemble the wrap!
6. Take your wrap, at the bottom half, cut a line halfway through the middle to create a flap. You’ll have 4 sections of the wrap.
7. In each one add something new, I have the cheddar shreds and Pico de Gallo, then slices of your avocado half, the sautéed onions next, then finish with the cheddar shreds and Pico de Gallo again. Fold up, then over, then down. You should have a folded half into a triangle piece.
8. Grab a flat top pan and turn the heat to medium. Melt your butter spread and when completely melted, press your wrap down. Hold it down for about 1 minutes then, let it cook on one side for about 5 more minutes. When golden brown, flip and repeat the same thing. Hold for 1 minute, then cook for about 5 more minutes.
9. Top with then rest of your Pico de Gallo and sliced jalapeños.
